Due to the Pandemic and various social changes, the Internet connection has become a basic service. Today many people wonder what the Internet will be like in a few decades, also how the challenges that now exist in the matter will be solved: security, privacy, data protection, democratic and fair access to the Internet, among other issues. addressed on January 14.
To analyze these and other aspects, Mundo Telecomunicaciones, in collaboration with the Faculty of Business Sciences of the University of Bío-Bío (FACE UBB) and the Regional Government of Biobío, will hold the ‘XIII Society and Information Technology Meeting’, in the city of Concepción, with the presence of the governor of Biobío, Rodrigo Díaz; and the presentations by Ricardo Baeza-Yates, Research Director of the Institute for Experiential Artificial Intelligence at Northeastern University in Boston; Miguel Pincheira, from the University of Trento – Italy; Sudha Jamthe, CIO IoT Disruptions; and Yolanda Martínez, expert in digital government and former representative of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) in Chile, among other prominent experts.
